Join your fellow members of the Dallas County Medical Society’s Retired Physicians Committee for a special Veterans Day outing to the Commemorative Air Force’s DFW Wing. We will enjoy a private tour exploring the remarkable history of military aviation, the preservation of historic aircraft, and the stories of the men and women who served our nation. Following the tour, physicians are invited to stay for lunch in the hangar, offering a wonderful opportunity to share fellowship and conversation with colleagues in a truly memorable setting.

The DFW Wing is part of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving historic military aircraft and educating future generations through aviation and living-history experiences. The dedicated volunteers of the DFW Wing work to preserve these remarkable aircraft and share the stories of the people and events that shaped our nation's aviation heritage.

Our visit is especially meaningful as we gather on Veterans Day, a time to recognize and honor the men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces. We are particularly grateful for the many members of our Retired Physicians Committee who are veterans themselves. This visit offers a special opportunity to reflect on service, sacrifice, and the legacy of those who have served, while enjoying an engaging experience with fellow physicians.
